About Me
I run a private practice based in Manchester and work remotely with clients across the UK.
I came to counselling after a career in teaching, having experienced first-hand the stress, exhaustion and burnout that can come with the demands of the role.
My clinical experience includes working for a domestic abuse charity, where I was trained in a trauma-informed approach that I now bring to my private practice. I also spent many years volunteering with Samaritans, which reinforced for me how valuable it can be to have someone who will really listen, particularly when the things you need to talk about feel difficult to say.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I work within their ethical framework and keep my practice up to date with current research and policy.
